Newton Presbyterian Church

Adult Education

Every Sunday morning we try to have classes that offer a place for interaction as we consider implications of our faith and seek to grow as disciples of Jesus.  Some classes are very practically oriented like Parenting, finances or marriage while others seek to help us better understand our faith like how to the study the Bible, or studying a book of the Bible in depth.  We also periodically offer an Agnostics Anonymous class as a place for people to ask questions.

Between Services: 10:15-11 am

Beginning January 10th

Parenting

We will have a combination of discussion groups and panels dealing with the many questions and struggles surrounding modern day parenting.  Everything from gender differences and discipline styles and ideas to spirituality in the home and dealing with the challenges of modern technology.

Offered Periodically:

Agnostics Anonymous

"How can I believe in miracles?"  "What about other religions? " "Hell!?"

Any and all questions or objections are welcomed.

If our faith is true, then it doesn't fear inquiry.  Your questions do have answers, maybe not always easy ones or simple ones, but being willing to ask them and at times wrestle with them only strengthens your faith.
