| DivorceCare
What is it?
DivorceCare is a series of workshops and seminars in a support-group
format. It is conducted by people who understand divorce and the
pain and struggle involved in the lives of those who are experiencing
it. Most importantly, in this group, you'll learn
how to deal with the pain of divorce and look forward to rebuilding
your life. DivorceCare is non-denominational and features biblical
teaching for recovering from divorce and separation.
Who is a part of it?
DivorceCare small support group are made up of people who are also
experiencing or have experienced separation and divorce. By
interacting with each other, you'll learn that there are others
who might share similar experiences and feelings with one another
and might understand what you are feeling. Together, you might
encouragement and hope.
You'll also have a chance to talk about the information presented
during the seminar. Many participants say these support groups
are the most helpful part of the program.
What
is the format of the meetings?
A video on one of the seminar topics listed below is followed
by a sharing session. Light refreshments are also provided. Any
one is welcome to begin attending a DivorceCare group on any
week during a session. Each session is "self-contained", and you
can continue through the next session to view any of the topics
you have not seen.
When/Where
do we meet?
DivorceCare meets on Wednesday evenings at Newton
Presbyterian Church, 75 Vernon Street in Newton Corner. Meetings
start at 7PM and end at 9PM. Your facilitators

The program runs for 13 weeks from beginning to end but people
are welcome any week as each session is all-inclusive.
