Place of Promise
Since Place of Promise doesn't yet have a presence on the web, we offer a bit more information below about this excellent ministry.
Place of Promise is a Multi-Service Advocacy Center that encourages and empowers individuals to live to their fullest potential through physical, emotional, spiritual and relational healing. Place of Promise promotes healing through bringing people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ
Place of Promise currently includes several residential homes for those striving towards the goal of living to their fullest potential. Residents may experience a range of problems including amongst others: substance abuse, mental illness, HIV-AIDS, chronic disease and /or a history of homelessness.
Life in each residence emphasizes a relational model of interdependency and is organized to strengthen each individual in their spiritual, emotional, physical growth, and well-being.
Place of Promise welcomes volunteers (individuals and groups) to share their skills, time and resources. Areas of opportunity include construction, auto repair, computers, child care, health care, general maintenance, correspondence, food preparation, mentoring and many more.
