Who is God? Why do people suffer? Why is there so much evil in the world? Is there a God? If so, who or where is this divine Being? At NPC, we struggle along with the rest of the human race in our quest for answers. But even in the midst of doubt, fear, or grief, we remain staunchly committed to the life, teachings, and example of a man called Jesus.

This commitment isn't always easy. When Jesus walked the soil of this planet two thousand years ago, he said and did things that made people feel uncomfortable. At one point, the crowd around him began dispersing in a hurry. Jesus turned to his friends and asked a poignant question: "Do you want to leave me, too?" We at Newton Presbyterian Church answer with those first friends of his: "Where else will we go? You have the words of life."
