What is a small group? Small groups are made up of ten to twelve people who meet weekly in homes to study, to share, and to support one another in their Christian lives. The studies are based on the previous weeks Sunday message using a curriculum designed from the message outline with additional supporting passages. Each group is led by a facilitator/leader. A typical meeting lasts two hours and includes light refreshments, discussion and prayer. No homework is required.
If you would like to consider the options of being in a small group at NPC, please contact us by email or at the church 617-332-9255.
Purpose of small groups:The purpose of small groups is to connect people to Jesus Christ and one another in authentic community that will promote transformation through living the Truth of Jesus Christ in our relationships, study of God’s Word together, prayer and outreach. To that end, small groups help us… • To know God in a more personal way • To understand what the Bible teaches us about community • To belong to a group with others who will support us in our spiritual growth • To care for one another and reach out to others • To have fun
