Newton Presbyterian Church

YOUNG ADULTS has made some exciting changes this fall to better meet the needs of the entire young adult population of NPC! Here's what is NEW...

YA SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDIES: there are several YA based small groups meeting weekly in homes. The Bible studies are heavily populated with young adults but are not exclusive to the YA demographic. Meeting in multi generational groups provides enhanced opportunities for mentorship and discipleship. If you are interested in joining a YA based small group or any other NPC small group please contact Garrett Smith or Bethany Carnes.

YA SOCIAL MIXER EVENTS:  YA not only has large social events throughout the year such as BBQ's, the Christmas party and the ski trip, but the YA Team plans monthly more "organic" opportunities to get together socially. There is a email list that goes out notifying you of these events! If you would like to be added to this list please email Bethany Carnes

 Winter Fun Day at Waterville Valley Jan 30th

If you've got the winter blues, we've got something to cheer you up! On January 30, 2010, the NPC Young Adult community is going north for a day of Winter Fun. We'll be meeting at the church EARLY to travel together to Waterville Valley to partake in whatever fun you choose. Snow Shoeing, Cross Country Skiing, Down Hill Skiing, and a fun New England town to explore all await.

Young Adults:

We're a group of single and married young adults in our 20s and 30s with no more then one kiddo from all over the world. While a few are natives of Boston, many have made their home here to pursue their studies or a career.

We seek to nurture personal relationships with Jesus Christ. We desire to know Him and make Him known in the world in which we live.

Together we form a welcoming, encouraging, tight-knit fellowship at Newton Presbyterian Church. We encourage young adults to use their gifts in the church body as a whole by also getting involved in music groups, Sunday School, service and missions projects, and other ministries at NPC or in the community.

Our focus is on Discipleship, Outreach, Service, and Social Activities:

    * Bible study
    * Praying together
    * Encouraging one another
    * Service projects
    * Trips, outings, and parties
    * Lots of fun!

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
